  The first time learning that God was real was through a classmate that I had class with. From there, when I thought that all hope faded and I was down in the dumps in 2008, I got invited to Grace through a classmate. From there, I met new people and heard miracles. This included testimonies, such as the guy with the shorter leg being prayed for. Five seconds later, his leg shot out to even size. TRUE STORY!! WOW!! What also turned me on was their weekly activities on the weekends.
  
  The bad news is once I graduated, I had bad experiences because I was not a Colorado State University student. My sister was pregnant and not ready to be a mother. What didn't help is that members of the church didn't pray for her because she was not a student. I will not discuss full details, but my needs were not met. From what previous members tell me is very similiar to my bd experiences. That is judgemental and a church that is known for bad matters. This is saying stuff to people that is not true and coughing on them giving people bad colds.
  
  All in all, Grace Christian Church works well for Colorado State University students, but non students are warned to steer clear of this church!

  I don't take reviews lightly. I'm not the type of person to flippantly give something a one-star rating without thoroughly examining all it has to offer.
  However, I truly, truly hated my visit to this church.
  First, the good--the people there were all very friendly. I can't say anything bad about them. I even bumped into an old acquaintance there and was glad to see he was going to church.
  The worship was alright. They played a few good songs, but it was also very showy. So if you're adverse to pseudo-concerts, this might not be a good church for you. And now for the bad.
  Let me sum up the sermon I witnessed in a nutshell: the pastor went up to the podium, read a few verses from the Bible, and then proceeded to rant and yell about the evils of religion for the next hour or so as the people who disagreed with him sat in horribly thick and awkward silence.
  See, Grace is the type of church that runs away from the issue of religious tension by impetuously stating over and over that they are not religious. Although anyone even familiar with the concept of religion would know that all forms of Christianity are, by definition, a religion, Grace seems to think the best way to address the problems caused by many denominations or churches by repeatedly shouting, "It's not us! It's them! Look at them! We're the good guys!" You could easily get the same religious education by watching the "Why I Hate Religion but Love Jesus" video for one hour straight, only with better cinematography.
  You will find nothing at this church that will enrich your understanding of Christianity if you are already a Christian. If you are new to the faith you might, but if that is the case, I also strongly recommend you do not attend this church.
  One more thing--the pastor also stated during his sermon that communion is an example of mindless religion. So if you think it's a good idea to honor Christ through communion, you really shouldn't go here.

  P.S. It's also a good idea to get people who are actually qualified to minister for campus ministry. I've spoken to several of them and have learned nothing.

  The campus ministers were rude and disrespectful. They trivialized my opinions and attacked me personally for not believing what they did. The fact a church trusts men like those to come to a campus and bully people they've just met is wrong. Can honestly say this is the worst encounter with a church I've ever had. Would not recommend to anyone.
