  • Great place for worship. Its not an outgoing parish but they have great events with the school. Beautiful church.

As for the previous comments i would have to disagree. When i visit at 1130 sunday mass, there is decent music. Its done the way catholics do all over the world. I have been to cathedrals from st paul minnesota to doblin ireland and this church has good music.

May god bless this church and its new priest. He is bringing a great perspective to my western mind.

  • The Church reflects upon current events and guides its Catholic community towards God no matter the situation. I love this Church. I moved from NYC not to long ago and I always feel at home when I go to mass at St. Joseph's.

My wife and I recently moved to Fort Collins and went to Mass here. I was dismayed by the lack of participation in the hymns. Few people sang. So little interest that half the church (not an exaggeration) left before the final hymn was even close to finished. Most of the congregation just seemed very interested in getting out of there as soon as possible.

While the preist gave a great homily, the people there, particularly the older ones are not friendly at all. In fact this seems to be a down fall of Fort Collins in general. We had been going for a few weeks hoping it would improve but I would say generally the people are unfriendly and even the elderly are outright rude and can't wait to get out of there. No one is interested in the music or readings and no one really exchanges sign of peace or holds hands for the our father. We will be switching. And I recommend you don't go either.
